Home Sweet Home

We are home and I will be checking in on my blogging friends soon. I hope to organize today and do a vacation post in the next couple of days.

We are off for our annual vacation with my dear hubby's family. This year we are going to Sanibel Island. I hope to have lots of sweet pictures to post! :)


Also, a very special "Happy 40th Anniversary" to my parents!!! We love you!!!

Happy Birthday Clark!!

Today my baby turns 7. I can't believe how time really does fly. We had a party at this little park in our town center for him. It is by his school and it is his favorite park to visit. We had family and friends, baseball and tag, and lots of cake and Yum-Yum's (shaved ice). His cousin (who is much older, 8 months) made a card for him that just summs it up...."I can't believe that you're turning seven! You are going to get older and older. What will I think when you're ten?" I know how she feels. I wonder what he will be like as he matures. What will life hold for him? It is my great pleasure to wonder through this miraculous journey of motherhood with Clark as my son. We love you baby boy!!!

Dance your heart out Bella Ruth!

Saturday May 10th was Bella Ruth's second Dance Recital. She was such a little doll. Most of the girls in her class are 6 years old. There is one that is 5 years old and then Bella Ruth just turned 4 in January. Since we live in a small town there are not very many girls Bella Ruth's age so the dance teacher had to place her with the older girls. She really loves this as she is "babied" by all of them. This was her dance teachers last year so next year we will be at a new school with a new teacher. I know that she will miss her little friends and Miss Jana.
